Samsung Internet browser comes to Windows PC

Samsung Internet browser on Microsoft Store, available for Windows

Samsung Internet, the default browser found on Galaxy smartphones and tablets, has expanded its reach to Windows PCs. The browser, based on Chromium and reminiscent of Google Chrome, is now accessible to download on both Windows 10 and Windows 11 through the Microsoft Store.

Notably, it is designed for x64 operating systems, with a download size of 130MB, making it compatible with Microsoft Surface devices. Users can seamlessly integrate their browsing experience across devices by logging in with their Samsung account. The browser supports synchronization of browsing history, saved pages, open tabs, and bookmarks between PCs and phones. While password syncing is currently absent, there is speculation that Samsung may introduce this feature in a future update.
